OREM — An Orem restaurant manager was arrested Thursday for allegedly offering one of his employees money in exchange for sex.

Fifty-six-year-old Aaron Hicks, West Jordan, was a manager at Joe's Cafe in Orem and recently hired the 17-year-old as a part-time employee, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court.

The girl told police that over the past two months Hicks often made inappropriate sexual comments to her and even put a $20 bill down the front of her shirt, according to the affidavit.

She also told police that Hicks gave her a drink that was spiked with alcohol, the affidavit stated.

Police say he repeatedly made sexual advances to her and even offered her money in exchange for sex. Hicks denied the accusations.

Hicks was booked into jail on investigation of aggravated exploitation of prostitution, forcible sex abuse and supplying alcohol to a minor.
