HELENA, Mont. — The Westminster College women's volleyball team was involved in a highway accident while heading toward a competition in Montana.
A charter bus was transporting the 13-player team when it collided with another vehicle on Interstate 15, about four miles north of Helena, Mont., said Krista DeAngelis, spokeswoman for Westminster College.
All passengers on the bus, including the athletes and the driver, were examined by medical personnel and found to be in good condition, DeAngelis said. The condition of the other vehicle's driver is unknown at this time.
The accident is under investigation.
The team will take another bus and still compete against Montana State University-Northern on Friday, college officials said.
