MEN'S GOLF: The Thunderbirds play in their final event of its fall schedule next week when the Thunderbirds compete at Cal State Northridge's Bill Cullum Invitational. The tournament will be played Monday and Tuesday at the par 72, 6,796 yard Woodranch Golf Club in Simi Valley, Calif.

Five Thunderbirds will compete in the tournament, including senior Tai Reynolds, junior Brad Millard, and sophomores Jeff Evans, Denny Job, and John Lindsay.

Sixteen schools will be represented at the tournament, including Cal State Baskersfield, Cal State San Bernadino, Cal State Fullerton, Cal State San Marcos, Cal State Stanislaus, Loyola Marymount, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts, Pacific, Portland, Southern Utah, UC Riverside, UC Santa Barbara, Utah State, Utah Valley and host CS Northridge.

"This tournament always has a strong field," SUU coach Richard Church said. "The field is made up of a lot of strong California teams, some Utah teams and Oral Roberts from the Summit League, so it should be a pretty competitive tournament. It will be interesting to see how we match up with Oral Roberts. The Woodranch course is always a test of everyone's golf abilities too."
