Richard Sperry and Jeff Wright were confirmed Wednesday by the Senate to fill two vacancies on the state Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission.
The pair were nominated by Gov. Gary Herbert to replace Mary Anne Mantes and Kathryn Balmforth, whose terms expired June 30.
Sperry is an anesthesiologist and associate vice president for health sciences at the University of Utah. Wright is founder of a private investment firm and a communications company.
