After sitting out Thursday night's preseason game against Portland, Kyle Korver also did not practice this morning with the Utah Jazz because of his inflamed left knee.

Korver will, however, travel with the team this afternoon to Los Angeles, where the Jazz play a pair of games this weekend in the L.A. Shoot-out. For now, he is considered a game-time decision for Saturday's 5:30 p.m. contest against the Los Angeles Clippers, according to a team spokesman.

On Thursday, Korver said the knee felt sore after Tuesday's open scrimmage but added that it felt better than it had the previous day.

Also, Andrei Kirilenko will miss Saturday's game but is still expected to return from Russia in time for Sunday's preseason game — against either the Lakers or Charlotte Bobcats. Kirilenko has been excused by the team to attend to a personal family matter this week.

The Jazz did decide not to bring C.J. Miles along for the road trip. The injured small forward returned from New York on Thursday after undergoing surgery there last week to repair a ruptured ligament in his thumb.

The southpaw, who will wear a rigid cast on his shooting hand for the next three-plus weeks, will begin running rehab in Utah on Monday.

Free-agent rookie Paul Harris (sprained ankle) will also not travel to L.A. with the team.

However, Harris and the rest of the NBA hopefuls without guaranteed contracts in Utah will likely officially remain on the Jazz's preseason roster at least through Tuesday's game in Portland. Jazz coach Jerry Sloan said this morning at practice he doesn't anticipate the club will make any cuts until then.
