HarperCollins has produced several off-shoots of the new movie version:
"Where the Wild Things Are: The Movie Storybook" is based on the screenplay by Spike Jonze and Dave Eggers, with photos from the movie. Full-and half-page spreads will be popular with children who have seen the movie and will recall scenes.
"Where the Wild Things Are" Coloring and Creativity Book with Crayons encourages the young reader to color, write and extend the story in their own book such as drawing what would be the choice of a hot meal after a long trip.
"Where the Wild Things Are" Puzzle Book contains six jigsaw puzzles of photos from the movie.
