MORE THAN A GAME — ★★½ — If the subjects weren't interesting, this basketball documentary would be a complete snore. Running time: 102 minutes, PG (mild profanity, slurs, brief drugs)

OPA! — ★★½ — This predictable romantic comedy-drama is passable eye candy if nothing else. With subtitles, running time: 100 minutes, PG-13 (profanity, brief nudity, vulgarity, slurs)

WHERE THE WILD THINGS ARE — ★★★ — The long-awaited, live-action fantasy is beautiful looking but might be too intense for children. Running time: 104 minutes, PG (violence, mild vulgarity, mild profanity, slurs)

MIDNIGHT MOVIE
