Natalie Cole to headline LDS Christmas concert

Grammy Award-winner Natalie Cole and Pulitzer Prize-winning author David McCullough will appear with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and the Orchestra at Temple Square for this year's annual Christmas concert.

The performances will be held at the Conference Center on Dec. 10, 8 p.m., and Dec. 11-12, 7:30 p.m.

There will also be a mini-concert "Music and the Spoken Word" broadcast on Dec. 13 at 9:30 a.m.

Performances, open to those 8 and older, are free, but tickets are required.

Online ticket registration at www.lds.org/events begins Oct. 17 at 12:01 a.m. and runs through Oct. 26 at 11:59 p.m.

To register by phone, call 801-570-0080 or 1-866-537-8457, Oct. 19-23, 10 a.m.-5 p.m.

Only one registration per household will be accepted; there is a four-ticket limit.

Those who are not selected to receive tickets will be notified by e-mail, and a letter will be sent to those who registered by phone.
