SPANISH FORK — A man police believe was the getaway driver in an alleged sweet-tooth burglary was arrested Wednesday at Spanish Fork High School's football stadium.

The 21-year-old Payson man's pickup truck was stopped by an officer after someone reported several people breaking into the stadium's snack shack at 100 N. 630 West about 1:30 a.m., according to a police affidavit filed Wednesday in 4th District Court.

After failing a field sobriety test, the man was booked for investigation of driving under the influence, burglary and possession of stolen property.

Police say they found a large bag of candy bars in the back of the truck.
