CROSS COUNTRY: Cameron Levins and Sharla Manuele have been recognized as the Summit League Cross Country Athletes of the Week, for a second consecutive week, after their performances at the Color Country Invitational over the weekend. The awards are the third for both runner this season as the duo has captured six of 12 possible weekly awards this year.

Levins and Manuele each finished first at the Color Country Invitational, powering the Thunderbirds to first-place team finishes over Utah Valley and Idaho State. Levins finished the course in 25:22.1, to set a new SUU course record at the meet. Manuele also finished in an SUU course-record time of 21:55.2, recording one of four top-eight finishes for the Thunderbird women.

Southern Utah will be back in action this coming weekend in its second nationally-loaded race of the year as the Thunderbirds compete at the NCAA Pre-Nationals in Terre Haute, Ind.
