Persevere when it comes to 'Family Nights'

Author Anne Bradshaw admits that family home evening can sometimes be a challenge, even though it has become a staple for members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

"We had some disasters, but we struggled on," she said. "I've met people who have given up so I wanted to put something together to encourage them. I've always been a fan of family night."

From that kernel of thought came her new book, "Famous Family Nights," in which she gathered 91 family-night anecdotal stories from recognizable people in the church.
