A 30-year-old Bountiful man who brought a pregnant woman to the hospital Friday was arrested for allegedly fondling a nurse.

The man brought a woman in labor into McKay-Dee Hospital in Ogden about 3 a.m., and when a nurse came over to help, the man commented about how attractive she was, police said.

While the pregnant woman was being taken away in a wheelchair, the man attempted to rub the nurse's back, saying there was something on her neck, and while doing so he allegedly fondled her, police said. The nurse swatted his hand away and backed up, but the man continued his pursuit, grabbing her again, said Ogden Police Lt. Loring Draper.

The nurse reported the incident to police, who investigated and found a warrant out for the man's arrest.

Adam Manning was arrested and booked into Weber County Jail for investigation of forcible sexual abuse, a felony. A court rec?ords search found that Manning pleaded guilty in February 2008 to retail theft (shoplifting), a class B misdemeanor, and was issued cash fines and put on probation. Records state that he violated the probation and a warrant was issued for his arrest last month.

Draper said it's unclear what the relationship is between Manning and the pregnant woman.
