'Adoration' among new DVD releases

The following DVDs will be released Tuesday, unless otherwise specified:

"Adoration" (Sony, $28.96) — ★★½ — There's definitely no shortage of ideas in this dramatic thriller, that's for sure.

R (profanity, slurs, brief sex, violence)

"American Violet" (Image, $27.98) — Drama about a single mother falsely accused of a crime in Texas.

PG-13 (violence, drugs, profanity)

"Drag Me to Hell" (Universal, $29.98) — ★★★ — This modestly budgeted, supernatural thriller is one of the more fun films to come along this year.

Special features: Unrated version (also $29.98) includes footage cut from theatrical release.

PG-13 (violence, gore, slurs, vulgarity, profanity, nude art)

"Every Little Step" (Sony, $28.96) — ★★★ — Fans of "A Chorus Line" should get a kick out of this behind-the-scenes documentary feature.

"The Haunted Airman" (E1, $24.98) — Robert Pattinson stars in this dramatic thriller about a wounded World War II pilot.

"Infestation" (First Look, $24.98) — Comic science-fiction tale about an invasion of giant alien insects.

"The Killing Room" (Genius, $19.95) — Thriller about four individuals who become governmental guinea pigs. Nick Cannon stars.

"Land of the Lost" (Universal, $29.98) — ★★ — The big-screen adaptation of the kids show is full of lowest-common-denominator humor.
