SPRINGVILLE — Police arrested a Provo teenager Tuesday who is suspected of burglarizing Springville High School twice this last year.
The first burglary occurred in January, according to a police affidavit filed in 4th District Court. Several windows of the school were damaged and a 42-inch flat screen TV worth $1,000 was stolen, the report stated. In August, the school was broken into again by a male resembling the suspect, police said. Several windows were again damaged and another 42-inch flat screen TV was stolen along with several iMac computers, the affidavit stated. The male was caught on surveillance camera and police said they found a blood sample as well.
Police questioned Christopher Bird, 19, earlier this week. He was booked into jail for investigation of burglary, theft and criminal mischief.
