POWDER MOUNTAIN (AP) — The Weber County Sheriff's Office says it is worried about the potential for more accidents on the only road to Powder Mountain if the ski resort becomes a year-round destination.

This summer, one person died when a motor home crashed after a motocross event at the resort.

Capt. Klint Anderson says the road to the resort is more treacherous than most roads used by large vehicles. Anderson says there's little the department can do to make the road safer other then enforce speed limits.
