Halloween party set at Legacy Center

LEHI — The Legacy Center in Lehi will host a Halloween party Oct. 30 with a pumpkin-carving contest, coloring contest and magic show.

For an extra fee, enjoy rock climbing, individual or family pictures and a sloppy joe dinner.

The party is free for adults, $3 per child, $12 for family or $2.50 per child and $10 per family in advance.

The Halloween party begins at 5 p.m. at the Lehi Legacy Center, 123 N. Center.

Conference for small businesses planned

RIVERTON — The first Mayor's Conference for Small Business for current and future small-business owners will run from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Oct. 27.

Participants will participate in panel discussions with experts. Speakers will include Riverton Mayor Bill Applegarth. Registration is $5 and includes a continental breakfast and box lunch.

The conference will be at the Sandra N. Lloyd Auditorium at Riverton City Hall, 12830 S. Redwood Road. For more information, visit www.rivertoncity.com.
