HURRICANE, Washington County — A 50-year-old man was arrested early Saturday after exposing himself and stalking a woman in the parking lot of a Walmart store, according to police.
Donald Lester Keith, a registered sex offender, has been booked on suspicion of misdemeanor stalking, disorderly conduct and public lewdness. He is being held on a $4,012 bond.
It happened about 4:30 a.m., according to Hurricane Police Sgt. Brandon Buell. Keith's alleged victim said she was called over to his car while in the parking lot. He then exposed himself and began to say crude things before following her into the store, she told police.
The woman was able to escape the man inside the store, said Buell. She then went to a nearby convenience store and called police.
Weeks' sex offender status stems from a 2006 conviction in Arizona for criminal trespassing, according to a preliminary search of state records.
