SOUTH OGDEN — A 47-year-old woman was killed Thursday when the sport utility vehicle she was riding in was hit by a full-size van.
The crash occurred on Skyline Drive near state Route 89 at about 11 a.m., according to South Ogden Police Sgt. Dave Labbe. Both vehicles were full, with five occupants in the SUV and 10 in the van. Fourteen patients were transported to local hospitals for treatment, Labbe said.
Shellie Noon, of Ogden, has been identified as the woman who died in the accident.
The intersection where the crash occurred was closed for about three hours for police investigation. Officers from the Utah Highway Patrol, Weber County Sheriff's Office and Riverdale police assisted South Ogden at the scene.
