MURRAY — In connection with Fire Prevention Week, the Murray City Public Safety Department will host the annual Health and Safety Fair on Monday, Oct. 5.
The event will be from 6 to 9 p.m. in Murray Park, east of the Park Center, according to Murray chief of staff Jan Wells. The park is located near 5000 South and State Street.
The safety celebration will include food and live music, plus a live burn demonstration and rappelling from the new 100-foot tower firetruck. Other organizations will provide demonstrations and information, Wells said.
The free display is open to the public.
