Kristin VanOrman has been selected to serve as a Utah state chair for the Council on Litigation Management. VanOrman is an attorney and shareholder at Strong & Hanni. She has been practicing for more than 14 years. Her practice focuses on labor and employment law, government liability and transportation. Her education includes degrees from Brigham Young University.
Marshall Stanclift has joined Partner Engineering and Science Inc. as the national client manager within the firm's SBA Division. Stanclift will be based out of the firm's Salt Lake City office and will be responsible for new business development along with maintaining current client relationships. He began his environmental career by launching the Environmental Site Assessment Division with Colorado-based US-Reports Inc. In February, that division was acquired by Partner.
Troy Peterson of Equity Real Estate has been elected to the board of directors of the Salt Lake Board of Realtors. Peterson has been a Realtor for 14 years and specializes in residential and commercial properties. His four-year term begins Jan. 1.
Drs. Charles Mallender and Qamar R. Khan have joined Granger Medical Clinics. Mallender has joined the Department of Internal Medicine at the Granger Medical Clinic in West Valley City. Khan also has joined the clinic in West Valley City.
Becki Szymczak has rejoined Coldwell Banker Residential Brokerage as a sales associate in Bountiful. She will again specialize in residential sales in Davis County. Szymczak had worked with the brokerage for 16 years before moving to Florida and working with a custom home builder for the past four years.
Debbie Welder, director of travel at CHG Healthcare Services, has been elected to serve a two-year term as the president of the Chapter Presidents' Council of the National Business Travel Association. Welder, who sits on the Utah Business Travel Association board as the UBTA immediate past president, will also sit on the national association's board of directors. Welder has been in the travel industry for nearly 20 years, having served as both a travel supplier and buyer. She is a founding board member of the UBTA, and served as vice president of the CPC from 2007 to 2009.
