In response to Nancy Joyce (Readers' Forum, Sept. 27) and others who believe that a single-payer, government-run health care is what our nation needs, I have one suggestion. Go visit some Indian reservations and check out their government-run health clinics. Take a close look at the state of the children living on those reservations — their teeth and skin. This might open your eyes to what a government-run, single-payer system could provide for us.
