Utah was ranked third among states in Forbes Magazine's annual state rankings of the "Best States for Business."

Utah was ranked 14th in business costs, fourth in labor, 11th in both regulatory environment and economic climate, 22nd for growth prospects and 17th in quality of life.
The top state this year was Virginia, followed by Washington. Rhode Island was last in the rankings.
