'Away We Go' released on DVD

The following DVDs will be released Tuesday, unless otherwise specified:

"Away We Go" (Universal, $29.98) — ★★★— What saves this amiable comedy-drama is that we come to know and care about its characters.

"Filth and Wisdom" (MPI, $19.98) — Comedy-drama directed by Madonna and featuring the music of "immigrant-punk" act Gogol Bordello.

"The Girlfriend Experience" (Magnolia, $26.98) — Drama directed by Steven Soderbergh, about a Manhattan call girl.

"The Hills Run Red" (Warner, $19.98) — Horror-thriller from 2008, about a serial killer stalking horror-movie fans.

Special features: Behind-the-scenes mini-documentary.

"Lies and Illusions" (Anchor Bay, $29.97) — Thriller starring Christian Slater as an author hunted by hired killers and international smugglers.

"Management" (Image, $27.98) — ★★— Steve Zahn's presence ensures that this murky comedy-drama is not completely unwatchable.
