PROVO – The Crandall Printing Museum, 275 E. Center St., will offer free walk-through tours Saturday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. as part of "Celebrate Your Utah Museum Day."
In addition, the museum's new Ramage Press will be featured in the new 1850 Deseret News print shop inside the museum.
They can then print their own copy of the first edition of the Deseret News and tour the print shop. Ever pulled the Devil's Tail? Everyone who visits the Crandall Historical Printing Museum Saturday will get the chance to pull the tail on this working replica press.
Those visiting are also invited to experience the world's only completely authentic working Gutenberg Press, the Benjamin Franklin Press, and a replica of the Grandin Print Shop, featuring the story of the first printing of the Book of Mormon.
For a more detailed experience, lecture tours can be arranged at other times by calling the museum at 801-377-7777.
