UVU women's golf team 3 shots off lead at NAU Mountain Shootout

The Wolverines are just three shots off the lead after the opening round of the NAU Mountain Shootout in Flagstaff, Ariz. The Wolverines trail Southern Utah (310) and host Northern Arizona (311) after a team score of 313 on Monday at Flagstaff Ranch Golf Club.

A pair of UVU golfers are in the top 10 led by Stacey Parkinson, who shot a 76 and is in fifth place.

Brittany Butler's 77 has her in seventh. Erika Baldwin and Abbie Lei Archibald both shot 80 and are tied for 19th while Monica Fox shot an 86 and is in 35th.

North Dakota State and Grand Canyon are two shots back of Utah Valley with team scores of 315.
