LOGAN — A 24-year-old male was stabbed multiple times at a party that got out of hand early Sunday morning.
Police responded to an address on the southwest side of Logan at about 2:33 a.m. and transported the man who had been stabbed to the hospital.
The man had been hosting at a party with alcohol near 1600 South and 1330 West when he got into a fight with his wife, according to a press release issued by Logan police.
Other family members became involved to stop the fight, and during this time the entire group began fighting. One of the guests then allegedly pulled out a knife and stabbed the victim multiple times in the back, the report states.
Mateo-Trevino, 23, was booked into the Cache County Jail for investigation of attempted murder.
