Here's what the Tallahassee papers are reporting today in advance of Saturday's showdown between the BYU Cougars and Florida State Seminoles:
FSU can't forget about BYU running game
Lost in the hype of a quick-hit passing game engineered by Max Hall is the idea that BYU can run. Even with two-time 1,000-plus yard running back Harvey Unga nursing a hamstring injury, BYU's ground game made its mark in an upset of Oklahoma and in a 54-3 dismantling of Tulane last week.
Sophomores Bryan Kariya and J.J. DiLuigi took advantage of holes created by their massive offensive line for 134 rushing yards and three touchdowns on 24 carries against Tulane. Kariya, as was the case against Oklahoma the week before, was also involved in BYU's passing attack.

Florida State vs. Brigham Young
Quick — who has accounted for more total offense for their team this season: Brigham Youngs quarterback Max Hall or Florida States Christian Ponder?
Well to start, Hall has thrown for more than 7,000 yards in his four-year career in Provo, Utah. Although his credentials make him out to be the obvious answer, that would be a mistake.
