A look at how NFL players with local ties fared in Week 1:

St. Louis OL C.J. Ah You (Lone Peak HS) blocked a field goal in loss to Seattle, but it came on a play where the Rams had 12 players on the field and the play was called back. The extra person on the field that wasn't supposed to be there: Ah You.

Baltimore QB John Beck (BYU) served as the Ravens' third quarterback in their win over the Chiefs.

Green Bay DB Jarrett Bush (Utah State) served as a team captain and mostly played on special teams in win over the Bears.

Cincinnati TE Daniel Coats (Northridge HS/BYU) started and had a 16-yard reception in loss to the Broncos.

Washington TE Chris Cooley (Logan HS/Utah State) had seven catches for 68 yards, including a 17-yard TD reception, in loss to the Giants.

Indianapolis WR Austin Collie (BYU) caught two passes for 15 yards in NFL debut.

Philadelphia WR Kevin Curtis (Bingham HS/Utah State) started and had two catches for 26 yards in win over the Panthers.

Miami DL John Denney (BYU) served as the Dolphins' long snapper in loss to the Falcons.

Buffalo DL Ryan Denney (BYU) came off the bench and recorded three total tackles in loss to the Patriots.

Cincinnati DE Jonathan Fanene (Utah) had a quarterback sack, a quarterback hurry and two total tackles in loss to the Broncos.

Indianapolis DB Aaron Francisco (BYU) played as a reserve and on special teams in debut with new team.

Carolina OL Jordan Gross (Utah) anchored an offensive line that struggled in all phases against the Eagles.

Baltimore OL David Hale (Weber State) played as a reserve in win over the Chiefs.

San Francisco LB Marques Harris (SUU) came off the bench and had a tackle at linebacker, and also assisted on a special teams tackle.

Pittsburgh NT Chris Hoke (BYU) came off the bench and recorded two tackles in win over the Titans.

N.Y. Giants LB Bryan Kehl (Brighton HS/BYU) played as a reserve and recorded a special teams tackle in win over the Redskins.

Pittsburgh DL Brett Keisel (BYU) started and had seven total tackles in win over the Titans.

Pittsburgh OL Chris Kemoeatu (Utah) started and played on line that couldn't get a push against the Titans, as they rushed for just 36 yards.
