Two mass vaccination clinics have been scheduled from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday in the Salt Lake Valley for those seeking a seasonal flu shot.
This annual vaccination should not be confused with the H1N1 vaccine, which has not yet been released to the public. Health officials are hoping residents will get this first vaccination early.
Locations are:
Salt Lake County Government Center, 2001 S. State, south building.
Southeast Health Clinic, 9340 S. 700 East.
Cost is $20, and health officials hope to see some 8,000 people during the four-hour event. For information online, see www.slvhealth.org or call the Utah Immunization Hotline at 800-275-0659. Preliminary information on the H1N1 vaccine is available at www.slvhealth.org/h1n1.
