WEST VALLEY CITY — A man accused of forcing a 7-year-old boy into a Burger King restroom stall and then sexually assaulting the child has been charged with two first-degree felonies: sodomy upon a child and child kidnapping.

While the boy's mother ordered food at Burger King, 5610 W. 3500 South, on August 15, the child went to use the restroom, where officials say Jorge Denis Gutierrez-Ortiz, 44, was waiting.

Gutierrez-Ortiz "grabbed the boy and took him into the stall," charging documents state. Prosecutors say he then undressed himself and ordered the boy to do the same before assaulting him.
