"The Princess and the Pea," Missoula Children's Theatre, Sept. 14, 4-6 p.m., Midvale Performing Arts Center, 695 W. Center.
Actors should arrive at 4 p.m. and plan to stay for the full two hours.
Some of the cast members will be asked to stay for a rehearsal immediately following the audition. Children in kindergarten through grade 12 are encouraged to audition. No advance preparation is necessary. Roles are available for 50 students.

"A Christmas Carol," Sept. 19, 9 a.m.-noon, Hale Centre Theatre, 3333 W. Decker Lake Dr.
All parts are open except for the role of Scrooge. Needed are men and women who can play ages 18-70. There are many roles for children and teenagers as well.
Please come prepared with 16 bars of a song in the style of the show, an accompanist will be provided. No taped music.
Actors will also be asked to read from the script in a British and/or Cockney accent. Actors should also bring a photo and resume. Character descriptions and line readings are available at www.halecentretheatre.org.
