WEST JORDAN — A high-school student suffered minor injuries after a school bus collided with another vehicle Friday morning.
About 7:30 a.m., a Jordan District school bus was going through the intersection of 9000 South and 1300 West when a pickup truck making a turn failed to yield and turned in front of the bus, said West Jordan Police Sgt. Drew Sanders.
The bus was carrying 45 high-school students, he said. One student and the driver of the pickup were treated at the scene for minor injuries.
A citation was issued to the pickup truck's driver.
