I recently attended the Timpanogos Storytelling Festival. I arrived at a tent where the most popular tellers were to perform. I was 25 minutes early. A third of the seats were occupied, with the other two-thirds having blankets, backpacks, programs and such on them. About 150 people were wandering around looking for seats.
I was amazed why these people would give up the 200 occupied seats and stand for an hour and half just because some rude people had left notice "I want to sit here," but were not present. I moved some jackets and sat down.
