A look at players with local ties on NFL rosters:

Baltimore QB John Beck (BYU): third-year pro threw for 232 yards in Ravens' final preseason game and will back up starter Joe Flacco.

San Diego DL Ryon Bingham (Alta HS): fifth-year player will miss at least the first six weeks of the season with a torn triceps.

Philadelphia LB Stewart Bradley (Highland HS): third-year player tore an ACL and will miss the entire year after breakout season in 2008.

Green Bay DB Jarrett Bush (Utah State): fourth-year pro is a backup corner and safety, as well as a contributor on special teams.

Buffalo OL Kirk Chambers (Provo HS): played as Bills' third tackle last season, but has lined up at guard during preseason.

Cincinnati TE Daniel Coats (Northridge HS/BYU): third-year player has earned Bengals' starting tight end position.

Washington TE Chris Cooley (Logan HS/Utah State): sixth-year pro hauled in a 73-yard reception in preseason game against the Patriots.

Indianapolis WR Austin Collie (BYU): rookie pass-catcher looks to be the Colts' No. 3 receiver and could see substantial playing time.

Philadelphia WR Kevin Curtis (Bingham HS/Utah State): entering his seventh season, has been plagued by injuries in the last year.

Miami DL John Denney (BYU): former undrafted player now in fifth season and again working as Dolphins' long snapper.

Buffalo DL Ryan Denney (BYU): entering eighth season, may be on the bubble to make Bills' final roster.

Cincinnati DE Jonathan Fanene (Utah): fifth-year player participated in all 16 games last season and could be headed for breakout year.

Miami LB J.D. Folsom (Weber State): seventh-round pick may be headed for Dolphins' practice squad.

Carolina OL Jordan Gross (Utah): seventh-year player will once again anchor the Panthers' offensive line.

Baltimore OL David Hale (Weber State): second-year player had solid offseason and started in Ravens' final preseason game.

San Francisco LB Marques Harris (SUU): former Charger joined the 49ers in the offseason and made final roster.

Pittsburgh NT Chris Hoke (BYU): ninth-year pro will continue valuable role as backup and occasional fill-in starter.
