There is no question in my mind why President Barack Obama, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid are anxious to pass legislation now, because they can see that in 2010, their monopoly in Congress will become nonexistent. Sens. Reid, Chris Dodd and Arlen Specter will not be re-elected. Finally, America is waking up to the disaster of having a Democratic-dominated House and Senate, along with a Democratic president.
