Proponents of single-payer health care assure seniors equal treatment. But consider: We currently put seniors at the bottom of the list for organ transplants, because organs are naturally limited.
So when a single-payer system is swamped by patients with no monetary inhibitions who want "their fair share" of the free pie, the only solutions will be waiting periods, inferior care or refusal of desired care.
Either way, seniors will be hit hardest.
