Tim Hurst of South Jordan grimaces as he crosses the finish line after running the half-marathon in the Hess Cancer Legacy Parkway Bike & Run in Davis County on Saturday. The Hess Cancer Foundation hosted a half-marathon, 20-mile bike tour and 2-mile fun run. Registrations and donations benefit families that have lost children to cancer and struggle to find money to pay for funerals. The foundation works very closely with Primary Children's Medical Center to find local families in need.
