Christopher earned a big compliment at the end of camp.
University of Utah coach Kyle Whittingham said the quarterback-turned-receiver was the most improved player from spring.
Christopher, the 2007 Nevada Prep Player of the Year, has cracked into the receiver rotation just months after switching positions. In one of Utah's scrimmages, he was the leader in receptions with six.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound freshman may also see action in certain packages at quarterback. As a senior at Canyon Springs High School, Christopher passed for a whopping 3,265 yards and 44 touchdowns.
He spent his first collegiate season as a redshirt.
