EAGLE MOUNTAIN — Eagle Mountain on Thursday became the Utah Lake Commission's newest member.
"We recognize that Utah Lake is a valuable asset to our region for recreation and as a water resource," Mayor Heather Jackson said in a news release. "That is why we felt it was important for our city to be part of this commission."
The Utah Lake Commission is made up of 15 city governments in Utah County, along with 20 other government organizations that work together managing the lake.
