OREM — The hot Owlz four-game winning streak came to an end with some late foul ups. An error from the third baseman allowed the Ghosts to score two runs in the bottom of the eighth. The Ghosts used the momentum boost to get back in the game before some badly executed pitching gave the game away. A wild pitch in the bottom of the 10th led to a bunt by Brandon Whitby, that pushed teammate Chad Jacobsen across the plate for the Ghosts' win. It was the Owlz third loss of the second half of the season.
CHUKARS 9, RAPTORS 8: The Raptors and the Chukars couldn't decide in nine innings who wanted to win, but it was a late error after a squeeze bunt in the bottom of the 10th that allowed Salvador Perez to score the game winner.
