Lehi doctor arrested in voyeurism case
LEHI — A 50-year-old Lehi doctor was arrested Thursday after police say he had been videotaping people in one of his exam rooms.
Detectives first began investigating Steven R. Pack of Alpine, a general care physician at the Mountain Medical Urgent Care at 127 E. Main in Lehi, on July 31, said Lehi Police Lt. Darren Paul. That's when two teenage female co-workers of Pack's came forward and told police they had been videotaped while changing clothes in one of Pack's exam rooms, Paul said.
The two women, ages 18 and 19, told police they had entered Pack's exam room to change clothes one after the other and realized they were being videotaped. Paul said investigators do not know if these women were the only ones filmed and are looking for other potential victims.
Officers were able to locate the video camera and video equipment with the images of the women on them in Pack's possession, according to Paul. They were also able to find additional images saved on Pack's computer hard drive.
Pack was arrested for investigation of two counts of voyeurism and one count of evidence tampering, all class A misdemeanors. Paul said the potential evidence tampering charge is because Pack allegedly attempted to delete and destroy evidence while the investigation was ongoing.
Pack was being held in the Utah County Jail.
