Recently, I read that some advertisers were leaving Glenn Beck's Fox TV show after caving in to pressure from ColorofChange.org's campaign. Color didn't like what Beck said. One of Color's founders is Van Jones, our new U.S. green czar appointed by the president.
The Clorox Co. apparently was sufficiently intimidated by Color that it has backed away from advertising on political talk shows.
Where's the courage? Integrity has value. Maybe the company recognizes that even its product cannot sanitize the ugly drips staining our national fabric.
