OGDEN — Two men sitting on a couch in their driveway were shot Saturday by a walk-by gunman, police say.
The shooting occurred in the 500 block of 28th Street about 5 p.m.
Joel Lazaro, 21, was shielded from one of the bullets by his webbed belt, said Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg. Guillermo Hernandez, 36, was shot in the calf. His injuries were not life-threatening.
The shooter fired five or six times, then escaped by hopping into a red four-door car, said Sangberg. By late Saturday, police had not located him. They also had not located the revolver used in the crime.
The Ogden Metro Gang Unit is investigating, said Sangberg.
