RICH COUNTY — A Salt Lake man died five days after crashing his motorcycle near Randolph last Friday, officials said.
Cameron Mashavekhi, 51, was riding his 2007 Honda Shadow north on state Route 16 around 7:30 p.m. when he missed a curve, Utah Highway Patrol spokesman Cameron Roden said.
Mashavekhi suffered serious head injuries in the accident and died on Tuesday.
Roden said authorities do not believe Mashavekhi was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, but officers did find a helmet at the scene.
"It looks like it was possibly on the side of the bike," he said.
