Radio station 1320 KFAN announced today the station will now carry "The Jim Rome Show" from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. (MT), Monday through Friday, effective Aug. 31. KFAN, which will become a Fox Sports Radio affiliate, picks up the nation's premier sports radio talk show.

"We are very excited to add 'The Jim Rome Show' and Fox Sports to our radio lineup," said Chris Baum, senior vice president of broadcasting for Larry H. Miller Sports & Entertainment. "Rome is one of the best sports broadcasters in the business and we think his addition will continue to strengthen our station as the top-rated sports radio outlet in the market."

"The Jim Rome Show" has been a dominant fixture in the sports radio scene in Salt Lake City since KFAN originally brought him to the market nearly 15 years ago, consistently ranking as the highest-rated sports show in its time slot.

Rome is known for his aggressive, informed, rapid-fire dialogue. "The Jim Rome Show," a.k.a. "The Jungle," airs on more than 200 radio stations each weekday and boasts more than two million listeners. KFAN's Fox Sports radio lineup now includes "DJ & PK in The Morning" from 6 - 10 a.m., "The Jim Rome Show" from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m., "Powerhouse" from 1-3 p.m., "Locked On Sports" from 3 - 6 p.m. and "Game Night" from 6 - 7 p.m
