Cache County authorities have scaled back their search for an 18-year-old Nevada woman, who has been missing for five days in the Green Canyon area.

"After conducting an investigation we believe at this time she is in the Cache National Forest by her own free will and choice," Cache County Sheriff's Lt. Matt Bilodeau said in a press release. "We do not, at this time, have any evidence that she has been hurt or is in harm's way."

Celina Roye, Las Vegas, was reported missing Thursday by her boyfriend, and a large-scale search was immediately launched. The search, however, was suspended Friday night when searchers learned she had packed enough supplies for several days.

Bilodeau said he believes she is safe because a "credible witness" saw her eating a plate of food alone Thursday.

The sheriff's office is still asking the public's help in finding the young woman so her family and friends can be assured of her decision and continued safety.

Roye is white, about 5-feet-7-inches tall, 120 pounds with blue eyes and green hair. She was last seen in Green Canyon, near North Logan. The Cache County Sheriff's Office can be reached at 435-716-9400.
