SOUTH SALT LAKE — For the second time in two weeks, a Rite Aid store was robbed of cigarettes after a car crashed through the front doors.
Sometime overnight Sunday, a vehicle was used to smash the glass front doors at the store, near 3300 South and 700 East. The main item taken was cigarettes, said South Salt Lake police detective Gary Keller.
A similar incident happened about two weeks ago, Keller said. Investigators Monday were looking for surveillance video from surrounding businesses to see if the incidents were related.
Anyone with information can called police at 801-840-4000.
