A 17-year-old boy drowned at Palisade Reservoir in Sanpete County Thursday night.
Rordan Bumgardner was swimming with four friends around 5:30 p.m. when he began to struggle. His friends attempted to help but were unsuccessful. Sanpete County Search and Rescue located the Salina resident about 30 minutes after the 911 call. He was pronounced dead at Gunnison Valley Hospital.
