After 21.5 million votes were cast for the "So You Think You Can Dance" season finale on Wednesday night, America crowned its favorite dancer on Thursday.
Jeanine Mason, a contemporary dancer from Pinecrest, Fla., took the title.
Local favorite Brandon Bryant, also a contemporary dancer, took second.
Bryant is originally from Miami but currently resides in Salt Lake City as a performer for Odyssey Dance Theatre.
Judge Nigel Lythgoe praised Bryant for his outstanding solo routines and said he would be shocked if he did not make the final two, along with Mason, after their paso doble routine during the finale.
Bryant will be touring along with the other top 10 finalists when they begin their nationwide tour next month. The tour will make its stop in Utah Nov. 7.
