OREM — With the bases loaded in the bottom of the ninth, Terrell Alliman came up big for the Orem Owlz. Alliman's RBI single lifted the Owlz to a thrilling 8-7 victory over the Idaho Falls Chukars Wednesday night.
Alliman went 3-for-4 at the plate with two runs scored and teammate Travis Witherspoon blasted a two-run homer.
GHOSTS 12, RAPTORS 9: At Ogden, the Casper Ghosts struck early, posting a nine run second inning en route to a 12-9 victory over the Ogden Raptors. The Ghosts took two of three games on the road.
Eliezer Mesa and Nolan Arenado blasted back-to-back home runs and combined for five RBIs.
